Kai has recently started his apprenticeship with Sandland Packaging and is really enjoying it! His interest in design, technology and engineering means he gets a lot out of running the machines, particularly the new fully automated stitching and gluing machine. He also appreciates how much support he’s getting from his colleagues in this new role. 

We asked Kai Harper for 5 fun facts:  

I’m looking forward to… finishing my qualification as a Manufacturing Operative in the next 12 months, then hopefully becoming a full-time member of the Sandland team. I’m also looking forward to going away for my 18th birthday with family and friends.     

My favourite film/game/book is…favourite game is Call of Duty and I like action movies like Fast and Furious with much-missed Paul Walker.

I’m not too keen on…not doing anything. I don’t like being unproductive.     

I really like… riding my motorbike and going out with my mates.     

In my spare time…I go to the gym – everyday if I can.
