Sandland Packaging – Two years supporting a local breakfast and after school club

Two years ago, Sandland Packaging began providing a monthly donation to a local childcare organisation which provides pre and after school care for children. We were keen to support our community, and this seemed a good way make sure children had the best start to their school day.

At the time, the Managing Director of the organisation explained they had set up a breakfast club and after school childcare to provide children with a variety of healthy food options along with a safe place to play.

Two years on, their Managing Director, confirmed, “Since receiving your generous monthly donation we have been able to provide families with access to a free breakfast for their child. With the cost of living crisis affecting everyone, our families are feeling the pressure of providing food and warmth to their children in addition to everything else that children need. With the donation we receive from yourselves we can help these families by inviting them to breakfast club for free. It’s been amazing to be able to help families in need and without your donation we simply wouldn’t be able to offer this service.”

Martin Hickman, Managing Director said, “It’s fantastic that our monthly support is making such a difference. The organisation and their team do all the hard work – we just help in the small way we can. We will continue to support our local community.”

Sandland Packaging are committed to ongoing sustainability through local community support, achieving CarbonNeutral status, planting trees with One Tree Planted, maintaining FSC certification and helping customers phase out single use plastic where appropriate. Sandland Packaging are the leading manufacturer of bespoke corrugated packaging in the West Midlands.
