Supporting customers with NetZero

As the world evolves, our customers are increasingly specifying a requirement for sustainable packaging. They find it particularly useful that they are able to report their packaging emissions as zero as all packaging bought from Sandland Packaging is certified CarbonNeutral.

In fact, we were delighted to have retained PAS2060 Carbon Neutral certification with a 15.88% reduction in our carbon footprint equating to 968.18 tonnes of CO2e compared to the 12 month boundary period.

This huge achievement came from strategic decision-making, renewable electricity contracts and reduced purchasing, all while maintaining a comparable turnover. We are realistic – we know that initial improvements will have the biggest impact – but we would like to challenge more companies to take this journey.

In our quest to continue to improve, we were also thrilled to have achieved ISO 14001 Environmental Management Standard.
