Sandland Packaging has improved its environmental credentials by achieving Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) certification. This reassures customers that their packaging materials follow a chain of custody back to a responsibly managed source.
Achieving FSC certification is part of a wider strategy to showcase the company’s environmental credentials which include helping customers to phase out single-use plastic where appropriate. Sandland Packaging are the leading manufacturer of bespoke corrugated packaging in the West Midlands.
“It was an obvious move for Sandland Packaging. We have supplied FSC materials for years so the certification was a simple matter. Our customers are increasingly asking for environmentally friendly options and providing evidence that we source sustainable materials was an obvious step,” said Martin Hickman, Managing Director.
